On October 27, 1989 Amy Mihaljevic met up with a man she thought was a family friend at the Bay Square Shopping Center, with the idea that she was going to buy a surprise gift for her mother. Instead, she was abducted and killed, a crime of infamy that became nationally known and covered by shows such as America's Most Wanted. While many were suspected, it is only this year that finally there seems to be a good lead on who committed this horrible crime against this poor innocent and promising soul. On the show today we review this cold case kidnapping and murder, review the events of that day, the subsequent search, and attempt to profile the kind of person who could have committed this crime. In the process we unveil the brand new suspect in this case. We hope our efforts will bring new interest, and a conclusion, to the mysterious kidnapping and murder cold case of Amy Mihaljevic.
